Professor Aydin Aghdashloo expresses his opinion about “Yootab, the Artist with an Ancient World” as follows:
I have a special attachment to the works of Yootab. She has created a world for herself that is “Archaic,” meaning an ancient and timeless world. I admire the works of this talented artist and have been familiar with her artworks for over ten years. I even traveled once to attend to one of her art exhibitions. I will support such a compassionate artist who is deeply concerned about culture, environment, and peace. In the world of art, there are sometimes individuals who possess the ability to shift cultural and artistic boundaries—those who, through their art, convey profound and impactful messages to the world. One such exceptional artist is Yootab Hakhamanesh, whose works reflect her concerns about cultural heritage, environment, awareness, global peace, and animal. Yootab’s artworks in terms of colors, canvas, and brushwork, her paintings are charming and visually striking, with a notable freedom in the forms and shapes she presents. Yootab is not only a talented artist with unparallel techniques, but through her works, she adds depth and meaning to the art world, addressing global issues that weight heavily on history and cultures.

She has held numerous exhibitions at World historical and cultural venues with a message of peace, friendship and unity over the past decade. She is deeply concerned about the future of the earth and the preservation of indigenous cultures. Yootab has managed to express her cultural and environmental concerns in a universal art language. She views the neglect of humanity’s cultural and natural heritage not merely as physical destruction, but as the destruction of the spirit of humanity, its decline, and the loss of identity and heritage for future generations.
Yootab has showcased her works not only in Iran but also globally. In 2016, she held exhibitions and lectures in African countries and, prior to that, engaged in voluntary and humanitarian activities as an Ambassador of Peace for Africa and UBUNTU. Following that, she continued her cultural and artistic endeavors in Latin America. In 2021, she personally funded a research trip to Mexico, where she explored and conducted field research on the cultural and artistic similarities between ancient Persia and the ancient civilizations of Mexico, particularly the Mayan and Aztec. This research led to a series of painting exhibitions at UNESCO World Heritage Sites titled “CONNECTION” and “Legacy of the Future”, which conveyed a message of global peace and was warmly received by audiences and art lovers. Her works have also been exhibited in other parts of the world, demonstrating her capability and influence as an international artist in the global art scene. She has created exceptional works of art that are not only understandable and appealing to Persians but also to people around the world. In response to a question about Yootab being a self-taught artist, and how he envisions her future, Professor Aydin Aghdashloo said: “Yotab’s future lies in her present. Yootab has created works that are valuable and timeless, and if she continues to pursue her ideals in the same way, she will undoubtedly succeed and thrive in the creation of future works, just as she does now.” She demonstrates that art can be a powerful tool for expression and changes.
