Hungary to Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations with Iran

The newly appointed envoy of Hungary presented his credentials to Mokhber.

Tourismonline: Giola Peto, the new ambassador of Hungary to Iran, at the beginning of his diplomatic mission in the Islamic Republic, met Iran’s Acting President Mohammad Mokhber, and handed over to him his credentials, Tourism Newspaper reported.

In the ceremony of receiving the credentials of the Ambassador of Hungary, Dr Mohammad Mokhber mentioned the development of commercial and economic exchanges based on the existing capacities as one of the important priorities for both countries.

Pointing out that the Islamic Republic of Iran does not see any obstacles or limitations in the development of relations with Hungary, the Acting President stated that the political relations between the two countries should be supported by expanding commercial and economic interactions and exchanges, which requires the diligent efforts and follow-up of the relevant authorities in the two countries.

In this ceremony, Hungarian Ambassador expressed his condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Iran following the martyrdom of Ayatollah Raisi, and described the relations between the two countries as long-standing, historic and far from any problems, and added, “Next year, Hungary will celebrate the 100th Anniversary of diplomatic relations with Iran, which will be a good excuse to exchange business delegations in order to develop economic relations”.

Referring to the good cooperation between the two countries in the scientific and educational sector, the ambassador of Hungary emphasized the deepening of cultural ties between the two nations and assured that during his mission, he will try to lay the groundwork for the development and promotion of relations between the two countries. .
