Shiraz to host International Conference on Investment and Financing
The third international conference on investment and financing will be held by Shiraz Municipality on October 3, 2024.

Tourismonline: “The third international conference aims to introduce investment opportunities and capacities of Shiraz metropolis to foreign and domestic investors as well provide financial security and investment stability and pave the way for investors”, Mohammad Hassan Asadi, the Mayor of Shiraz said in an exclusive interview with Tourism newspaper.
Pointing to successful holding of the last 2 international conferences on investment and financing in Shiraz, Shiraz Mayor said, “We will try to hold the third conference appropriately too.”
Shiraz Mayor stressed on attracting investors as an important issue for any city or country and continued, “as government resources, are limited and are usually spent on current expenses, attracting investors of private sector is essential to implement more large projects,.”
He added,” Many great projects have being implemented in Shiraz which will lead to the promotion of public welfare and development of urban infrastructure of this metropolis.”
Emphasizing on unprecedented achievement of Shiraz in attracting private investment, Asadi declared , “Shiraz Municipality managed to attract 35 thousand billion tomans (the official currency of Iran ) of private sector capital in the last two years and this year it is about to conclude an investment contract worth 26 thousand billion tomans.”
He added, “Therefore, more than 60 investment contracts will be concluded by Shiraz Municipality during 3 years totally.
Enumerating the huge economic capacities in Shiraz, Asadi stated,” introducing these capacities to private investors and persuading them to invest in Shiraz can be achieved by holding such conferences, just as we attracted investors in the previous two conferences .”
Asadi mentioned,” members of the Islamic City Council of Shiraz, national and provincial officials, foreign and domestic investors and representatives of Islamic Parliament, companies, banks, economic institutions, and heads of economic commissions are invited to this conference.”
According to Tourismonline , the third international conference on investment and financing will be held in Shiraz on the 3 October, 2024.
